Terms of Service
Draft for legal review. These terms are a placeholder and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. They will be replaced before eBookMe is generally available.
1. The service
eBookMe lets an organisation ("Customer") and its people share booking links so others ("Clients") can book meetings, using the calendars the Customer's people connect.
2. Accounts
The person who creates a company accepts these terms on its behalf and confirms they're authorised to. Customers are responsible for the people they invite, their sign-in settings, the calendar accounts they connect, and keeping credentials secure.
3. Acceptable use
- Only connect calendars you're allowed to use, and only share links for meetings you intend to hold.
- No spam, phishing, impersonation or unlawful content in links, descriptions or messages. eBookMe may pause a company, for example when its emails bounce or draw complaints.
4. Customer data
Calendar data and bookings belong to the Customer. eBookMe processes them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy and a data processing agreement.
5. Plans, trials and fees
Paid plans are billed yearly in advance, per person, through Stripe. Adding or removing people changes the number of seats, with prorated charges or credits. New companies get a 14-day trial of the Standard plan; at the end of a trial without a paid plan, the company moves to the Free plan and anything above its limits is paused, not deleted. Subscriptions renew each year until cancelled; cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid year.
6. Availability, liability, termination
To be completed in legal review: service levels, warranties, limitation of liability, indemnities, refunds, suspension and termination, governing law.
